This simple cap has endless potential — both with the yarn you choose and any embellishments you choose to add.
The cap pictured here was knit for charity in Red Heart yarn that was donated to my church. So often organizations receive donations of that brand or similar yarn, and if that’s what you’re knitting with, I encourage you to use the best of it, particularly bright colors, for the children.
Of course, any worsted weight yarn will do. I do suggest the use of sturdy yarns for children, and machine washable may be something you’d want to consider as well.
